Bell team members have been getting together every summer to play ball since 1964. The Marcel Vincent Tournament, named after a Bell Canada president, started as a fast-pitch event, and moved to slo-pitch in 1986. After almost 50 years, Bell team members, pensioners and partners continue to enjoy the tradition and get together every August.

The Marcel Vincent Softball Tournament brings together Bell team members from across the country from Friday, August 9 to Saturday, August 10. Register before July 30.

Accommodations	Hotel Book travel and accommodations suitable to your team’s requirements (price point, location, scheduling etc.). Bell team members can take advantage of Bell’s corporate rates for hotels, air/train fare and car rentals by using the discount codes. Schedule	All schedule information will be sent out to all team managers the week before the tournament. Managers’ meeting and player registration Friday early morning before games. 3 games Friday and 1 game Saturday Banquet Friday night

What are the costs to participate?	Entry fee $500.00 per team – payable by e-transfer or cheque/money order. Travel, hotel and registration costs will be at the players’ expense.
I’d like to play, but I don’t have a Team?	We encourage players without a team to register and we will attempt to find a team for you to play on. Please contact The Marcel Vincent Tournament at mvtinbox@gmail.com to get your name on the list, include choice of co-ed or men’s division.
What equipment do I need?	Standard Slo-Pitch equipment is required: Glove Bat – regulation bat as per current Slo-Pitch rules Helmet – (Optional)
What skill level or experience is required for participation?	All levels from beginner to advanced are encouraged to participate.
Can current employees or retirees of Bell affiliates play? (For example, Northwestel)	Yes, eligibility includes Bell affiliate companies.
Can I choose to play in both the Men’s Team and Co-ed team?	No. Players can only be registered on one team.

Player / Team Eligibility Criteria (updated 2023)

You must be a current or retired BCE employee to play. Contractors are not eligible.
Exceptions: External vendor partners that have participated in previous years are eligible to play.
10-15 players/support per team
$500 team registration fee
