Bell ready to deliver the world's first all-IP Games

450 Bell technicians in Vancouver have wired 130 Olympic and Paralympic
venues and support sites to welcome the world to Canada's Games

VANCOUVER, Feb. 8 2010 -- With only four days until the Opening
Ceremony of the 2010 Winter Games, Bell is ready to deliver the first-all IP
(internet protocol) Games in history. Every image seen on TV, every news
story filed to the world and every real-time score transmitted will traverse
a state-of-the-art network and communications solution designed and delivered
by Bell.
"These past few days have seen the culmination of an ambitious vision,
with hundreds of Bell technicians and other team members coming together to
deliver Canada's Games to our country and to the world," said Justin Webb, VP
Olympic Services, Bell. "The opportunity for our people to work with such
world class partners has been an awesome once-in-a lifetime experience for
every single member of our team."

IDC, a leading provider of global market intelligence, recently published

"The resulting network architecture, while very similar to
next-generation converged networks being deployed by large national and
