VANCOUVER AND TORONTO, Sept., 14, 2011 2011 -- Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR) (TSX: SW) and Bell today announced that the 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 Turbo Stick (also known as the Sierra Wireless AirCard® 313U) is now available from Bell. Providing laptop users with mobile Internet access to Bell's new 4G LTE network with speeds rivaling wired broadband, the 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 supports online work or play, including video streaming and online gaming, from anywhere within network coverage.

"With 4G LTE, we can truly deliver a rich multimedia experience on the laptop that stands up to comparison with what people expect from their home or office connections," said Dan Schieler, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mobile Computing for Sierra Wireless. "We are thrilled to be collaborating with Bell on its 4G LTE network launch and to deliver the 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 Turbo Stick to Bell Mobility customers."

The 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 offers Bell Mobility customers mobile Internet download speeds as fast as 75 Megabits per second (Mbps) with typical speeds ranging between 12 and 25 Mbps and up to 100 Mbps as the network platform evolves. The 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 also switches seamlessly to the best available network technology when customers are out of an LTE coverage area.

Bell announced yesterday that it was the first wireless carrier to bring 4G LTE coverage to Toronto - Canada's largest wireless market - and nearby areas including Mississauga, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph.

"Being first to offer 4G LTE - the most cutting-edge innovation in next generation network technology - to Canada's largest wireless market demonstrates Bell's commitment to industry leadership," said Adel Bazerghi, Senior Vice President of Products at Bell Mobility. "Capable of delivering top speeds of 75 Mbps today, 100 Mbps in the future and fallback speeds as fast 42 Mbps, the 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 Turbo Stick is a great device to introduce Bell Mobility customers to all that 4G LTE from Bell has to offer."

Bell's 4G LTE network is the first and only Canadian 4G network to switch to the next fastest speed available when outside LTE areas - either Bell's Dual Carrier HSPA+ providing peak speeds up to 42 Mbps (typical between 7 and 14 Mbps) available to approximately 70% of the Canadian population or HSPA+ offering speeds up to 21 Mbps (typical between 3.5 and 8 Mbps) to more than 96% of Canadians.

The 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 features a thin, matchbook-style design that optimizes the dual-antenna placement for best performance, while including user-friendly details like an articulating and pivoting hinge that works with the widest possible array of laptop USB ports. Setup is simple, with built-in support for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS operating systems. Supporting software automatically installs directly from the device, meaning customers can be up and running within minutes.

The 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 Turbo Stick can be purchased online today starting at $79.95 on a three year term ($219.95 with no term contract) and will be available in Bell stores tomorrow. Please visit www.Bell.ca/LTE for more details and to purchase the device.
