SUMMARY OF TAX IMPACT – CDN residents – 69.21% of the BCE shares cost base (or adjusted cost base (ACB)) as of May 1, 2000 is allocated to Nortel to estimate the ACB of shares received. The ACB of BCE is reduced to 30.79%
