Bell Turbo Hub delivers high-speed Internet to rural communities in Québec and Ontario

MONTREAL, May 26 2010 -- Bell today announced the new Turbo Hub for portable Internet access speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps on Bell Mobility's HSPA+ mobile network. Offering landline voice service as well as in-home Internet access, Bell Turbo Hub is an ideal solution for rural and remote communities not already served by wireline broadband.

"Bell's new HSPA+ network is delivering fast and reliable Internet access to thousands of small towns and remote communities across Canada, many of which have never had high-speed Internet access from anyone before," said Wade Oosterman, President of Bell Mobility and Bell's Chief Brand Officer. "The Turbo Hub is a great way to leverage the power of Canada's best network to access the Internet in rural and remote locations across Québec and Ontario."

The Bell Turbo Hub allows clients to connect up to 15 devices at one time via either Ethernet ports or Wi-Fi service and can supply voice service too when connected to a landline phone. A fully portable solution, Turbo Hub can be used by simply plugging it into a power outlet anywhere in Bell's vast HSPA+ coverage area.

Bell offers at least 93% of Canadians access to the fastest and largest wireless network in the country, 4 times larger than its major competitor and covering more than a million square kilometres. It sweeps in thousands of small towns, rural centres, remote locations and cities from sea to sea.

Rate plans for the Bell Turbo Hub start at $40 per month for data-only usage. For an additional $20 per month, clients can add unlimited local voice service or $40 per month for unlimited Canada-wide calling.

Voice plan promotion until July 20

Clients who activate on a Turbo Hub rate plan offering voice service by July 20 will get an additional $5 discount for the duration of their service. The Bell Turbo Hub is available for as low as $149 on a two-year contract or $399 without a contract.
